Welcome to CASA ALCHIMIA, an historic house built in 1789 in the hearth of Freeport, Maine. Over the past few years, we have worked to bring a modern contemporary twist to its internal walls while maintaining its original exterior look. We invite you to experience our favorite interior designers, photographers on top various collections of art and books, all with an Italian influence. As you walk outside along our Maple Trees, you are just a few steps away from the downtown of Freeport Maine, home to shops, dining and LL Bean headquarters and flagship. CASA ALCHIMIA offers unique Rooms decorated with contemporary art and design furniture. All the indoor floors are in Italian oak, worked in a traditional way and treated with water-based paints and ecological glues, support an ecofriendly environment. A traditional Italian breakfast is included in the rate along with our complimentary welcome Italian Aperitif upon arrival. We look forward to having you at CASA ALCHIMIA and nursing you in a place where Art, Culture and Culinary experiences meet. CASA ALCHIMIA is also pleased to offer private dinners, events and cooking classes, catering by reservation.
