Arts Center at 8 Hancock Avenue
Operated by the nonprofit Friends of Soliders Memorial Library, the Arts Center offers classes, concerts, art shows, presentations, classes, meeting space, and facility rentals.
FoSML (Friends of the Soldiers Memorial Library) is a registered 501c3 charitable organization. The church next door to the library was very generously donated by the remaining members to the FoSML. After donations, many renovations and upgrades, the Friends are pleased to offer this Arts Center to the community.
The Arts Center offers classes, concerts, art shows, presentations, meeting space, and facility rentals. The Center is perfect for family functions, weddings, retirement parties, and other events.
Features include: Free Wi-Fi Access, 2 Restrooms, Elevator, Tables/Chairs, Projector and Screen, Stage Lighting, Beautiful Stained Glass Windows, Organ and Piano Available, Sound System Available And More.
The Arts Center is used for group (self-instructed) yoga, Tai-chi, music practices, game groups, and other activities. It is also a satellite site for a variety of MSAD#55 Adult and Community Education courses. We welcome new class and group ideas and encourage community involvement.
