Blair Art Glass
Glass tableware and ornamental hanging pieces hand crafted in Maine. Formed from two pieces of glass, fused together at 1500 degrees in a kiln. Firing on various shapes of molds or, on kiln shelf for several hours, then cooled overnight. Powder ground enamels used for the colors; crochet doilies, series of stencils, or modern patterns used for the designs. The glass tableware may be used in a dishwasher but not microwavable and sudden temperature change should be avoided. Various effects such as bubbling and crazing may occur on certain pieces and are a natural part of this process.
