Mahoosuc Guide Service Maine Dogsledding and Canoeing Trips
Mahoosuc Guide Services, Master Maine Guides Polly and Kevin offer guided canoeing, dogsledding and fly fishing trips.
For 33 years Mahoosuc Guide Service has been one of the most respected and experienced professional wilderness guide services in New England. Polly and Kevin, the founders of Mahoosuc Guide Services are two of the very few guides who make their living as year round, full-time, professional wilderness guides.
We offer overnight guided canoe trips on rivers such as the Allagash, East & west Branch of the Penobscot and St. John.
Maine dogsledding trips are in Umbagog National WIldlife Refuge and Grafton Notch in the Mahoosuc Mountains.
Mahoosuc Guide Services specializes in fly fishing for cold water species; native brook trout, land locked salmon, and Atlantic Salmon.
For 30 years we have partnered with Indigenous people (Cree, Inuit & Wabanaki) to offer cultural trips. All trips are owner guided and fully outfitted. Meals are cooked over the campfire and feature locally produced and organic items.
