Mt Abram Ski Area
Family ski resort in Western Maine since 1960
Are you ready for great mountain fun with no attitude? Located in Greenwood, Maine, just five miles from Bethel, Mt Abram offers you an unpretentious, laid-back experience that is skier-and-snowboarder-friendly. With Maine’s first “Boundary to Boundary” ski policy and 560 acres, we have the best terrain Maine can offer. Mt Abram hosts Maine’s premiere learn to ski area with a magic carpet and its own Westside Lodge. Whether you enjoy corduroy trails or ripping exciting tree lines filled with sweet powder stashes, or if riding our beautiful glades is more your style, we’re certain that you’ll end your day feeling the glow from our mountain love.
The ski area is comprised of 1,150 vertical feet, 5 lifts, 51 trails and 2 base lodges. There is terrain for all ability levels, including the Westside, with a separate base lodge and an expanded heated pavilion, chairlift, magic carpet and lessons available for families. The Main Lodge is home to the best après parties in New England! Cruise into Loose Boots Lounge for live music, wine tasting, great beer and tasty food. Mt. Abram is constantly working to improve snow-making capacity, while expanding the existing trail network to improve the quality of the slopes.
