Snow Pond Center for the Arts is a not-for-profit, located on a 40-acre campus along the shores of Lake Messalonskee in Central Maine. Snow Pond Center for the Arts’ mission is to foster a community anchored and enhanced by the arts and arts education. The center promises to be: Home for the area’s arts instructional community and schools of excellence in arts education. In conjunction with the historic Bowl-in the-Pines outdoor performance venue, a premiere facility of the caliber and capacity of institutions such as Tanglewood, Chautauqua, and Interlochen. An integral part of the New England Music Camp experience: the Snow Pond facility will support and expand NEMC’s internationally recognized summer youth camps and their expanding programs for college and graduate level musicians, as well as new programs for adults. A beautiful and well-equipped lakefront location for retreats and conferences for area universities, businesses, and civic groups.
