Stop in at the East Boothbay General Store for fantastic home baked breakfast goodies.

Explore Ocean Point, walk along the rocky shore where most mornings, you can watch lobstermen pulling traps. Great photo opportunities too.

Haul a lobster aboard Maine’s sailing lobster boat, the Sarah Mead, a gaff rigged Friendship Sloop. Be sure to make a reservation, trips leave four times daily from the Spruce Point Inn dock.

Treat yourself to a real traditional Maine lobster bake on Cabbage Island. You’ll board the Bernie Alice ferry that takes you into the middle of Linekin Bay. Lobsters are steamed the old fashioned way, under a bed of seaweed! This 60 + years family run lobsterbake takes place rain or shine in a cozy island lodge.

Look for the Old Lobster Fisherman, on the East Side of Boothbay and you’ll find Brown’s Wharf Inn, a great place to stay right in the heart of this lobster fishing harbor. This is the best place to see the sunset in the harbor!
