Meander along the working waterfront in Downtown Portland and treat yourself to Maine lobster, all day long!

Morning

Go ahead, start your day with a lobster omelet at Becky’s Diner. This is where locals gather each and every morning on Hobson’s Wharf. And yes, Becky has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives!

Book a 1 ½ hour tour on Casco Bay with Lucky Catch or Rocky Bottom and try your hand at hauling a lobster trap.

Afternoon

Take the lobster roll taste test at Luke’s Lobster and/or Eventide, where both serve tasting size rolls.

To work off your midday lobster snack, get out and explore downtown along Portland Trails or take the Portland Landmarks self-guided walking tour of Portland’s working waterfront.

Day’s End

Have your pick of a Maine lobster dinner, from the classic DiMillo’s (with spectacular views from the foredeck), to Pai Men Miyake for a Spicy Maine Lobster Roll (as in sushi) and Lobster buns, to the award-winning Street and Company.
